There was two main Caldwell families in Caddo/Texas, Madison & Sylvia Caldwell and their offspring and R Caldwell & wife Hannah and family. Madison Caldwell states in his records born in Georgia and R Caldwell's records state Tennessee, so I don't know if they are related. Both families are listed here. Madison Caldwell's death certificate has his mother as Lizzie. I also have a tree here for Willie and Nancy Caldwell that were from South Carolina.

The 1900 census lists Sylvia as the mother of 9 children with 7 living, I believe Annie was adopted and Tholomon died young. The 1880 census shows Mat & Sylvia with 3 other older children with the last name "Lewis" that I believe are her other 3 children, this adds up and Annie isn't in the 1880 census with the rest of the family.
